This was almost as bad as CNN trotting out the audio recorded by the gamer who was talking to an online cam-girl and recorded the gunshots.

We actually had CNN on last night when this was "breaking news". The St. Louis police association lawyer was making the point that these contractors could not have seen the initial part of the confrontation because they would have been shielded by the building, and that this could not be immediately after (several minutes at least had to have elapsed) due to the fact that on the video you could see the crime scene tape going up.

The whole time, Sunny Hostin was declaring the cop guilty of cold blooded murder, saying that the lawyer had to admit that this was all evidence of a crime, etc. I seem to remember her being all in on the side of Trayvon Martin during that trial as well, basically ignoring anything positive for the defense and continually championing the prosecution's case.

If this "new" video and "new" witnesses were authentic, they would have been selling their wares 15 minutes after the shooting.

The contractors still had seen enough to recite what had happened in the near aftermath of the unnecessary shots. they wouldn't have just made that up.

And to the people who keep asking why they waited to come forward its pretty irrelevant because the video clearly makes them credible witnesses who were at the scene of the crime

please explain. Why would credible video evidence take so long to come out.

This is a video of someone talking about the crime apparently not long after the scene. There are many ? with this video. Where was this guy at the time of the shooting? This video starts after the crime happened, and the guys who are already out of their car, how can we collaborate the video with their story? I could go on but this is a video of witnesses after the fact, not a video of the event.

So does anyone have an eye witness account of the altercation?

That's really what I want to know

The man was shot dead, had 6 bullets in him, was unarmed

Ok...we get that

What did Brown do, to bring the wrath of open fire upon himself?

that's the important information

If he in fact tried to take the officers weapon and it actually went off in his car, I doubt the officer waited to shoot him...

Lesson if all true? Don't mess with a cop

.

No story here, no racism, just another dumb criminal who ended up dead because he was cocky enough to threaten a police officer.

word travels quickly.

random person who may or may have not seen the scene.
Contracter "what just happened"
Person "a cop shot someone"
Contracter "who?"
Person "I have no idea but I heard he was surrendering and got shot in the head."

easily could explain what he said.

Whats your point here. A lot of time has passed and a lot of print has happened. Everyone has access to the facts as they are currently known.

I guess your correct but this is a month latter, in this day and age it is almost impossible to keep something hidden that long.

Plus their story doesn't exactly jive with the evidence already made known to the public.

No, it doesn't make them credible. It only places them at the crime.

Interesting, I'm interested in if the leak about "12 witnesses back the officers story" info is true.

Unfortunately, we will never know the truth.

However, I'd like clarification on this

quote:

The man told CNN he heard one gunshot, then another shot about 30 seconds later. "The cop didn't say get on the ground. He just kept shooting," the man said.

Are they talking about the initial gunshot that started the whole thing and then 30 seconds later the deadly shots taking place? Or is he saying that the cop fired one while he was running away and there was a standoff for 30 seconds before the fatal shots

Does anyone know how this eye-witness account squares with KNOWN facts such as the nature of the injuries? Eye witness accounts can be great but they can also be shockingly unreliable. For example, are Brown's wounds consistent with these accounts?

I don't think so. But it sounds like CNN is just trying to run with a story that backs up the evil racist cop killing innocent black kid.

likely the officer sees a trial.

This is all they are still digging for.

True dat.

They need a trial badly as a run up to the 2016 election. A 'not guilty' verdict in the trial will ensure 135% black turnout for the DEM candidate.

A 'no bill' now by the grand jury will cause some discontent, but not enough to influence the senate balance - even if it comes before Nov.

They need a trial - full blown circus ala Travon.
