are Brown's wounds consistent with these accounts?
Unclear... No shots in the back, however one is in his forearm that could come from the back, but also could come from the front depending on how his arms were placed.

the video clearly makes them credible witnesses who were at the scene of the crime.
==============
No, it doesn't make them credible. It only places them at the crime.
true dat - I didn't know about the video showing them at the scene.
So - their testimony is certainly needed - credibility is in question and will undoubtedly be tested at trial.
up vote sir.

I think the autopsy shows he wasn't shot in the back, is it conclusive no, but I find it hard to believe the cop shot Brown while running away the autopsy just doesn't back it up.

Yeah. There is typically an continual "what happened" at these types of things, and the person doing the asking will soon be the person describing what happened...and on and on. That's certainly possible.

Maybe we should just wait and see what is said about why they waited so long
If they have already given statements to the prosecutor and did so early on, then they didn't "wait" at all. The news media just found out about them.

He could have shot and missed. It makes sense if it was a moving target running away from him.

And then what happened?

CNN has egg on its face no matter what in my opinion. These guys' account of the event doesn't square with the audio tape they hyped just a few weeks ago. Which piece of sensational evidence is CNN going to admit is wrong?

I don't know.

They didn't say he was shot in the back, just that Wilson shot AT him while he had his back turned and was running away. It's possible the shot he fired at him missed the target.

Ok, went back and watched the entire thing... The "Witnesses" claim that brown staggered 20-25ft and then fell dead.
There is NOTHING, even other witness statements, that corroborates this. All other accounts we have heard state that the officer fired until he fell. Plus, the bullet to the top of the head indicates that Brown had to be leaning forward, so either charging or falling dead.

Yes, CNN is crap, but witnesses' accounts differ all the time. The point is: the more evidence, the better.

Yup, thats why investigators say its hard to use witness statements because they are usually shite.
Like I said before, its going to be interesting if the "12 witnesses" leak is true.

random person who may or may have not seen the scene. Contracter "what just happened" Person "a cop shot someone" Contracter "who?" Person "I have no idea but I heard he was surrendering and got shot in the head."
I think this may be less likely given the demographics at work. I would have to know more about the individuals to see if they had predispositions towards not liking cops.

What's their ratings after each piece of information is released? They don't care about conflicting evidence.

edit: yes that could have happened, but the shots that killed brown all come from the top.
Original post bellow.
look at the autopsy report. All the shots are in the front of him, no shots in the back. I could understand shot in the arms in the back because they are moving constantly, but you can't describe the shot in the eye or the shot at the top of the head.
From the best that I can remember and trying to make sense of the Autopsy report, I think this happened.
Brown and his friends are being stupid after just stealing from a convenient store, walking in the middle of the street.
Officer sees them and tells them to get off the street. Somehow the cop either stops his car or is about to get out and brown attacks him. Probably because brown fears that he will be arrested.
Brown tries to go after the officers gun, the officer somehow shoots brown in the arm. Initially brown starts to run away. Than the cop says stop, or something to that effect. Brown turns around maybe raises his hand and says ok ok ok.
Than for what ever reason brown decides to charge at the cop again, the cop who already has his gun drawn safety off, opens fire when brown attacks him. Two of the shots hit Brown in the head, 2nd one is fatal.
Some of the witnesses may have seen the kid raising his hands and than heard gun shots soon after, their initial reaction is to think. Cop shot an unarmed kid after he gave himself up.
My guess could be wrong but there isn't much certainty in this case right now.

From "50ft" away? GTFO He has capped in the head, what did they expect to see?
