I don't actively root for people to suffer, however, they made their own bed.
The good thing is that if you approach it correctly, suffering can be a good thing. Think through your actions, learn, get tougher and understand the world a little better.
I have little hope of that happening, but that is what suffering is for. Come out of it stronger and wiser.
