Many of the upper-income Bham suburbs are heavily influenced with this crap... Homewood, Vestavia "Hills", Mtn. Brook, where you did find plenty of Doug Jones signs. In looking at the 2020 election results by precinct in Jefferson County, it's shocking the percentages of Biden votes where some of the wealthiest Alabamians live.

The Birmingham school for the fine arts has been playing this role since the 90s.

Get them out of the real schools and into their own safe space. I doubt the heteros will mind the freaks departing.

Doesn’t work that way. This place is a Petri Dish for spreading the disease to other schools.

Well, at least they are sectioning themselves off into their own school with this insanity. If parents send their children to be abused there they are getting what they asked for. Awful for the kids but it least the blame and result is falling on the parents shoulders instead of spreading it to the kids of the non retarded parents.

For those who don't know Alabama from a hole in the ground, this is not the city of Birmingham. It's the B'ham suburb Homewood that is 68% white.
True, but the school is about 3 miles from downtown geographically speaking.
You gumps seem to think everyone knows B'ham.

If a town is 68% white but still supports shite like this, it says something about that town, and the white population in it.

Honestly, I'm fine with this. Let them go to school by themselves.

I'd have approved it too. Please get those freaks out of our school system.

Plus, it's highly unlikely they will get enough demand to actually have a school for very long. Denying this only creates a legal situation for no reason whatsoever.

Homewood was the first of the over-the-mountain white flight segregationists..

Would this make Birmingham City Schools "black flight segregationists?" If so, I think the results speak for themselves here. The "white flight segregationists" clearly made the right move while the "black flight segregationists" should have done more to keep the "white flight segregationists" around.

I’m actually not too opposed to this.

It’s a place where these fringe types can get the education that they want and not pollute the normal schools with this crap.

This board has many people who believe tax dollars should be used to fund vouchers to allow all students to choose where they want to attend school, including religious schools.

This board also has people who think grooming kids in kindergarten is cool.

Why do you like grooming kids in kindergarten?

These kids are going to stay in a bubble during their development years then still kill themselves when they graduate and leave their bubble for the real world.

Ahh. Another small government conservative.

This terrible argument again? If I want the government to get out of 10 things but step up to protect kids from being groomed, that means I'm not a small government conservative?

Can you give me a list of what small government conservatives can want the government to do while still being small? Apparently, the criteria is very specific. I missed the meeting where it was decided that 'small' no longer refers to size but to type of actions.
