Most likely. But if it means he implements maximum telework (meaning, I don't waste gas going into a nearly empty office one day a week) my budget and car won't complain.

So can governors use emergency powers to tackle climate change by unilaterally forcing vote by mail?

What a bunch of frickinbullshit. Can't get a law passed so he pulls this garbage.

Sue him in court again and get this thrown out. There is no current clear and present danger.

Also, emergency powers need to die a brutal death.

I’m sure the American people will welcome new rules/laws and billions thrown at this climate crisis right after Covid and with inflation as is

The Dems have to be trying to lose

If they're going to abuse emergency powers, we need to take away emergency powers.

I'll try and find it, but a year or two ago this was a young British guy being interviewed on the street and he said something to the effect of:

quote:

If the government can break the law in times of crisis, and the government has the sole discretion of declaring crises, what's to stop the government from declaring a crisis to break the law?

Why don't more people see the inherent danger in this?

They’ve already started. I got a random message a few weeks back wanting to know if I wanted to opt in for recommended adjustments to save on my utility bill. I declined but it hasn’t stopped them from tinkering with it. I’m about to switch out to a different model I’ve got on hand. If that doesn’t work I’ll stick the old ones back on

It's gonna be so much easier to vote if I can't drive to the polling place...

They'll mail paper ballots which come from trees which scrub our air of CO2.

The White House announced Tuesday that Biden will travel on Wednesday to Somerset, Mass., to deliver remarks on tackling climate change.

Traveling by air, burning jet fuel, to declare a climate emergency when he could announce this garbage from the White House.

And idiots will buy it. No questions. Programmed right in as gospel truth. It blows my mind.

This is a work around on the SCOTUS slap down of the EPA... Hopefully this will be challenged and done away with quickly...

This is way beyond Covid. This is scary shite. This is all the proof you nay-sayers need to know we are being internally sold out.

Go to hell, Joe. And Klauss. And Xi. And Gates.

Once the climate crises is declared it will NEVER be over.

NEVER.

The only way to remove the crisis will be to remove the Federal Government.

But

They will issue in decrees on a short temporary basis.

Two months to stabilize emissions.

Would be fun to have a huge group of people in Mass to welcome him for such a historic moment.

Honestly, I am really surprised that they have not played this card on "gun violence" in order to get their gun control agenda pushed through...

Executive Orders need to go away period... If it is important enough for action then Congress needs to do its job and pass a law...
