You obviously left out Central or South. They are not "Americans".

I was actually referring to how these smugglers know that their shipments will cause the overdose death of dozens directly.

I dont value the lives of 4 non American drug smugglers over the dozens of lives of those who will be killed by their product.

Show me puppy pictures, please.

That's the only one I have unfortunately

My mom came to visit me last weekend and brought her dogs. I'm sure I could dig up a picture of them.

Sally, you try to show a contradiction by making a partial quote.

The rest of your quote isn't much better, imo... you assert that these drug addled losers would die anyway on another batch of drugs.

If that's the case, let's just round all these druggie assholes up and kill'em before they can kill themselves, they are all going to die anyway, right?

I guess that'll have to do... I love doggy pics. There hasn't been a pet thread in a long time.

Nobody cares about inflation or debt either, apparently.

That’s a bizarre leap of logic. I explained what we should do “if that’s the case”; we should punish drug use. That is the proven method of controlling drug use.

Those boats probably cost $150k compared to a cargo of 1,000 times as much.

Again supply and demand.

They dont order them off amazon.

quote:

The cost of a boat used for drug smuggling varies widely depending on the type, from around $700,000 for a high-performance speedboat to $1 million to $2 million for a semi-submersible or fully submersible craft. Other vessels, such as refitted fishing boats or other standard vessels, may cost less, potentially around $1 million for a standard trawler.

The turnout time on having another one acquired is not zero.

These businesses dont typically carry a lot of extra boats on hand, the maintenance and storage costs would eat into the business.

Its not magic.

I'm cool with this.

I'm also cool with sinking drug boats.

Complex problems, multi-pronged solutions.

Maybe you’re right, and we will see a shocking rise in drug prices and a plunge in drug use. I won’t hold my breath.

We shall see, I do think we will see OD deaths drop as the US supply shrinks.

The real question is if Washington will just get bored and stop.

And I am all for long term institutionalization of drug addicts.

They get hooked, they get institutionalized for 5 years.

They get caught with any amount of fent, 5 years to life depending on the amount.

What if it's not limited to your intentional framing and is targeted towards, say, "Right wing terror groups" ?

You think these small boats leaving Venezuela will have any real impact on US supply? Why?

The real supply comes in via ports of entry, from Mexico and Canada.

…..wat?

What’s even your point?

There’s no way you thought you were making a good point by comparing the decades long insanely convoluted mission of the war on drugs that collapsed into ridiculous end goals and controlling Americans instead of anything positive to striking a drug boat.

If these right wing terror groups were running drugs, I'd be fine with it.

They'll be guilty of whatever the FBI says they're guilty of. Maybe child porn is found in their digital online trail. I mean, the FBI would never falsify evidence or anything, so totes nothing to worry about.

You're absolutely right.

We shouldn't prevent drugs from coming into our country because the FBI might plant Child Porn on someone's computer.

Why do you think the general policy philosophy is only limited to drugs?
