I can't see a single crime that was committed, so they try and create one by questioning you for hours and then come back later and claim lying to the FBI if there is the slightest thing different.

Just say FIF....and walk away. The smart thing to do dealing with ANY level of law enforcement. They are NOT your friend and definitely are not acting to find the truth, they want to charge you and convict you at all costs.

Yet the feds can lie under oath to Congress repeatedly and never face ANY consequences. For thee, but not for me.

They can evidently ignore Congressional subpoenas....and not recuse themselves despite obvious conflicts of interest.

They can spontaneously decide laws were not broken, or they were. The can also buy cooperation using coercion and duress to force witnesses to testify.

IF I am Trump and Mueller wants to depose me..I tell him to pound sand.

Or say you won't answer any questions without an attorney present.

And preface EVERY answer with "as far as I can recall" or "to the best of my recollection". If you DO recall something different than what you previously said, then (again, with your attorney present) preface the reply "upon thinking further on this issue, and again to the best of my recollection".

It's hard to make a charge of perjury stick if you state up front that you're not being totally definitive but only to the best of your recall.

Good advice. But I think it best WITH your attorney present just to use that well worn term..I take the FIF...and that is all you do. Give them ZERO.

Serious question - could Flynn have just pled the 5th or said "I don't recall" over and over and over again when he was questioned?

For as sharp as Trump is and as often as he used the legal system to his advantage, his team seems stupid as frick on pertinent legal matters thus far in his administration.

Its a process crime. This is why you should never ever under any circumstances talk to law enforcement or the Feds without an attorney present. My brother nearly went to jail about 15 years ago because he spoke with the police. He tried to be as helpfull as he could, and then they turned around and arrested him. Cost him about 3 years of his life dealing with the court system. It also wrecked his dreams of joing the military. Law enforcement is not there to be your friend. Way too many people get fricked by the system because they think they are doing the right thing when it comes to giving statements.

Fif is an inside joke around here, somewhere there is a GIF of a black dude with two lawyers holding up a piece of paper with FIF wrote on it, Ebonics for Fifth Amendment.

Exercise your Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination.

After giving your name and basic info, answer ALL questions in some form of "I shall not answer the question based on my Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination". (Again, after demanding your right to an attorney and with said attorney present)
