If Section 224 of the National Defense Authorization Act is approved by congress as currently written then billions of dollars of defense spending for Israel will be hidden as defense spending needed for the USA.
Netanyahu is counting on this happening so he can say, “There is no defense spending by the USA for Israel.” However the reality will be that more and more money is spent and hidden.
This is a result of US congress members being bought by the Israel First billionaires, who will demand they vote for the NDAA with Section 224.

So basically he wants for Israel to do what they think is best for themselves instead of having to bow to the USAs demands. We can’t strong arm them into doing our bidding if they don’t owe us anything. They don’t want to keep wearing the leash and being pulled back. That is the bigger picture.
