And why do you feel that way?

I'm trying to understand it better so I can form an informed opinion.

Get rid of it. Government regulates too much.

Net neutrality is a needed government regulation due to crony capitalism.

People that want to get rid of net neutrality for the "free market" have no idea what they are talking about.

Its communism for the internet. Just look at the people who are for it.

From my very elementary understanding of it, it basically keeps companies from being able to spend money on having their websites/online services more accessible than others, correct?
Seems like getting rid of it would kill small businesses ability to be viable online.

I've seen Trump supporters who are for it.

Really? I've been a part of designing a decentralized, P2P ISP. I think I understand what net neutrality is and why the government should not be deciding and regulating something as important as the internet

I'm trying to understand what exactly it is.
Can you please explain what it is, & how it would affect a small business owner?

I am not sure any of you understand what it really is.

It's a misnomer in its current state. I'm all for true net neutrality, but the "unlawful" act stuff opens the door for licensing and censorship. Same re: "packet equality."

Sorry, but I don't want Comcast to have this kind of power. The IRS literally has a higher approval rating than Comcast. They're evil people that run that company and they will frick everything up if Net Neutrality doesn't exist.

Anyone against it I'm totally convinced is either the .0001% of society who benefit from it or has no idea what they're talking about. It would be the end of the internet and free speech at large as we know it.

This just isn't true. 1. People against it are not simpletons and 2. Opposing it would spur innovation that would kick the current systems arse

I think net neutrality prevents ISPs from selling packages that restrict websites unless you pay more. I am leaning for net neutrality because it limits the ease of censoring alternative views maybe? I am not 100%.

I would hate to see CNN on the basic package and drudge report on the premium (or not offered at all). Flimsy example off of the top of my head.

By default i am typically against regs so this is an odd one.

You have to be corrupt or not have a fricking clue what you're talking about to be against it.
So are you corrupt?

Seriously what benefit does this have to the general public aside from "hooray for Capitalism" if it is overturned? I can't think of a single positive aspect for the nation at large.

You keep saying this, but you come across as an idiot. What do you know about mesh networks?
