Net Neutrality check in.

Net neutrality was repealed back in December of 2017 by the FCC.
Weren't we opposed to have unaffordable internet rates and discriminatory internet access by now?

Millions dead in the street.

I had just been brought back from death by tax cuts when net neutrality murdered me. This is actually just my disembodied digital footprint voice.

So we should wait until after big ISP's start throttling websites to make a law against it?

My internet speeds have actually gone faster and my bill has not gone up. I thought the sky screamers here said we would be in the Stone Age without NN. 2014 and before was just fine.

I was told this change would be instant. They were just BEGGING for net neutrality to be repealed so they could start throttling everyone's access. Now it's going to take time?
Interdasting.

It was repealed in December but only took affect a little more than a month ago on Jun 11th.

How do you know they're not? There is no way to tell. Even if they were suspected of it, there's no way to tell. There is no legal means to investigate them for it because there is no law against it. Yay?

I remember Lori Pitts was really upset about it and called every Wisconsin Rep and Senator

Are you guys blind?
Let's see here- AT&T has raised prices ACROSS THE BOARD, including charging higher "administrative" fees. They also are forcing folks in higher cost plans without alerting them.
The other 3 (T-Mobile, Verizon, and Sprint) are changing their "unlimited" plans to have the lowest cost ones be throttled "at any time the network is congested", as well as limiting video streaming to 480p unless you pay more. Now, recognize that the affected plans are the ones that had the same price as un-throttled previously, so they are effectively raising prices as well.
This with only the law being officially repealed for a little over a month. Watch it get way worse before it gets better. You are kidding yourself if you say you want these companies to have more power over your content.
Brave new world folks.

I check my speed at my house. So far I'm getting exactly what I'm paying for, sometimes more than that.
How's the speed at your house doing?

See what had happened was...
Nothing! Nothing has happened.
That's the point he clearly made when he created this thread.

What makes you think title 2 is needed for this?

There is no law against collusion. How are we able to investigate that?
Curiouser and curiouser.

I wish I had a good answer, but my ISP won't allow me to get to any of the sites to research it.

Are you trying to argue that Net Neutrality going away has allowed wireless cell phone carriers to do this to cellular plans?
