I would love to see the change of tone had Hillary won the election and we found out about all of this.

Don't think that is correct as I remember(sorry no link) officials stating that russian intrusion was detected but no evidence was found of alterations quite awhile back.

Isn’t this a recycled story?

Didn’t work the first two or three times, I guess. Let’s have NBC run it up the flagpole.

Found out about what? They penetrated voter registration rolls? The horror! How does that affect anything? Demonstrate some degree of correlation. Show me some linkage. Cause and effect.

I am old and grouchy. I like something good to complain about as much as the next guy. This is just shoddy journalism that tries to (poorly) insinuate that the Russians (somehow) influenced the election. And it is bought lock, stock and barrel by those on the Left when the article actually says absolutely, positively NOTHING. I posted this because it is just Leftist fear mongering.

Didn't they run this story up the flagpole already, and Wisconsin and Georgia election officials said it was BS?

Our team does it so it's all ok right?

This is just the rewrapping of old fish with new paper and trying to sell it again to the public.

LOL @ your attempt!

It's a time line. It includes articles from left and right. Even some CNN in there.

What is YOUR problem with a timeline and sources that we all can look at to get a clear picture....

THAT'S your issue isn't it. You don't want a clear picture for people to see!

The U.S. official in charge of protecting American elections from hacking says the Russians successfully penetrated the voter registration rolls of several U.S. states prior to the 2016 presidential election. In an exclusive interview with NBC News, Jeanette Manfra, the head of cybersecurity at the Department of Homeland Security, said she couldn't talk about classified information publicly, but in 2016, "We saw a targeting of 21 states and an exceptionally small number of them were actually successfully penetrated." Jeh Johnson, who was DHS secretary during the Russian intrusions, said, "2016 was a wake-up call and now it's incumbent upon states and the Feds to do something about it before our democracy is attacked again." "We were able to determine that the scanning and probing of voter registration databases was coming from the Russian government." NBC News reported in Sept. 2016 that more than 20 states had been targeted by the Russians. There is no evidence that any of the registration rolls were altered in any fashion, according to U.S. officials. In a new NBC News/SurveyMonkey poll, 79 percent of the respondents said they were somewhat or very concerned that the country's voting system might be vulnerable to computer hackers. In January 2017, just weeks before leaving his post, Johnson declared the nation's electoral systems part of the nation's federally protected "critical infrastructure," a designation that applies to entities like the power grid that could be attacked. It made protecting the electoral systems an official duty of DHS.

Sounds like we need a photo ID in order to vote. Should not be an issue regarding voter registration right?
