This is just shoddy journalism that tries to (poorly) insinuate that the Russians (somehow) influenced the election. And it is bought lock, stock and barrel by those on the Left when the article actually says absolutely, positively NOTHING. I posted this because it is just Leftist fear mongering.

Didn't the FedGov hack Georgia's voting computers?

Link to an old story that says state voter rolls (not just parts of the state electoral system websites) have been previously known to be breached?

Sounds like we need a photo ID in order to vote. Should not be an issue regarding voter registration right?

Are the corrupt and incompetent Obama Admin and the Clintons allowed to PROFIT from their OWN mistakes?

If the Russians did us harm during the Obama Admin, let the Accused be called by name: POTUS Obama.

state voter rolls
Let me help a brother out;
quote:

"We saw a targeting of 21 states and an exceptionally small number of them were actually successfully penetrated."
It is fluff. It gives the appearance of a major issue and when you carefully examine it, it amounts to nothing.

I am willing to hear you out if I am wrong. What is the issue with accessing voter registration rolls? Help me to understand what the problem is.

The problem is that Russians in our systems undermine faith in American elections which is exactly their goal. Your post implies that we should wait to be alarmed until some future point to be alarmed. That puzzles me.

Should we wait? For what exactly? Votes to be changed? Republican electoral prospects to be harmed?

How does accessing voter registration roles undermine faith in the American elections? The article itself stated;
quote:

There is no evidence that any of the registration rolls were altered in any fashion, according to U.S. officials.
So what is the issue? Do you think that Russia is the only country that has the ability to hack (yes hack) into a database? I am honestly trying to see the issue from your viewpoint. They accessed information. They did nothing with it.

What was the point?

ETA:
quote:

Votes to be changed?
This would be a serious breach in our election process, without a doubt. Is this truly even a possibility?

Gee.

And I crave so desperately being taken seriously by a poser like you.

Now I shan’t sleep tonight.

So where do you stand on voter ID requirements?

It's not a red herring. I was simply stating election fraud should be treated equally. If the Russians altered the election, let's prove it and move on. If the Trump administration was working with Russians to alter the election, let's prove it, impeach him, and move on. I just don't think there's any proof of it. The examples I listed are proven to have occurred for almost every election.

I still have not seen one photo, or evidence that Russians held Americans at gun point and made them vote for Trump at the voting booths.

Fair enough. I would say the article was a red herring. It seems like the situation is dire (Russians penetrated U.S. voter systems, top U.S. official says) and when you read the article there is absolutely nothing of substance in regards to how the election was impacted. And I wholeheartedly agree, all forms of election fraud should be treated equally.

Stop being stupid! That's your go to when you can no longer refute things.

You lash out at a timeline and when it's pointed out that it contains sources from all sides, you then revert back to "Paid Poster".

Deal with the facts.

The problem is that Democrats in our system were undermining the election which when brought to light grows faith in American elections which is exactly the goal.

All of the democrats said that the system couldn’t be rigged before the election. Now they all thinks it’s rigged . If they really thought that Russia could rig our election then fixing it would be top priority but they never talk about fixing the system. Democrats know that a election that is 100% legit is bad for them .

You're taking a retrospective view of an ongoing issue. This wasn't a one-off. Pompeo said last week that he anticipates more meddling in the mid-terms.
