He's probably innocent on the rape stuff. The plan was just to keep the accusations in the news cycle 24/7 to force him out so the party could hand pick a replacement. Have you heard anything about Swalwell being arrested or indicted since he dropped out of the Califirnia governor race and resigned from Congress? By the way a Democrat lawyer named Cheyenne Hunt connected both Swalwell and Platner's accusers with the media. Michael Tracey has done a couple of stories in the last day or two about how this was coordinated. He calls it ratfricking.
