Relevant quote from Rep. Boebert:
quote:
Companies daring to declare their support for Pride Month—including those that simply adopt a rainbow-colored logo for June—are facing online attacks from right-wing social media users, leading the Navy to delete its Pride posts, as boycott threats against any company deemed “woke” for outreach to the LGBTQ community continue to go viral
Relevant quote from Rep. Boebert:
quote:
Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) practically popped a cork to celebrate what some see as a reduced number of companies marketing Pride support this year, tweeting: “They’ve seen the power of conservative boycotts, and they are running scared. . . We are so back!”

It’s not boycotts. It’s simple avoidance especially when other choices are so easy.

Quit using the failed Karl Rove strategy of talking about social issues.

The Left has continually pushed more and more to the point what used to be a campaign for tolerance and understanding has turned into coerced glorification and celebration.
It would be more surprising if this aggressive, in your face tactic did not eventually result in a backlash.

Tolerance meets limit. After three good, fair years of letting the insane have their hour in the sun, it's time to put them back in their cells and double the medications.
They want more than acceptance. They're not getting it.

The right using the exact tactics of the left is scaring the shite out of them.

Of course those same companies don’t do the rainbow logos in the Middle Eastern divisions…

In my opinion, Target was the turning point. It's one thing to read about things on a message board or see some videos on social media but when you walk into a store and see them pushing trans stuff onto kids front and center it shocks you like a cold shower.

If you'll notice on the main page of MSN, Yahoo etc they are blocking comments on anything tranny related.

I doubt it's just "right wing", most moderates are against transing the kids too.

We are seeing the benefit of musk taking over Twitter.
These outrages have been happening every year, but Twitter suppressed them. Companies not seeing it, and the leftie bots were propping it up so companies were falsely dupped.
BL could have been an anomaly because of the "easier to switch" reasoning. Target though has been the most bought into this garbage from a retailer perspective and now it's showing that it can work. The only issue is that we conservatives don't have a big box alternative at the moment. Why the pillow guy needs to step it up to build an online big box sooner than later.

What is the difference?

And that's the problem many have.
Tolerance =/= acceptance.
Acceptance =/= celebrate.
Of course, America was warned when all the "we just want to be married" bullshite started (you can chart the trajectory from Obergfell)

Possibly:
More on the right
Deeper pockets
More guns

Yesterday someone posted a comment that the American Right is the 3rd largest GDP in the world.
Hadn't thought of that and that info should be taken advantage of in this fight. Especially if we can figure out how to use it to get our "leaders" to do what's best for us, and not do garbage bills like we had passed this week. They keep crapping on us for sure. We need the Democrats that ran Repub to get in office, purged out of the system.

I agree with this except that I hate the left-right dichotomy (I know it’s just efficient shorthand) and I don’t think the “the right” cancels and doxxes the way the statist deconstructionists do. But turning up the heat on these people is long past due.
