Can the one from PAC Fleet get through the Panama Canal? (Not that it needs to.)

I would say The carriers are more important than any Marines going with. Allows to monitor sea and air for outside interference.

The Venezuelan Navy is sending two, or four if needed, Boston Whalers armed with water cannons to meet them in the Gulf.

Arghhhhh you mean the chinese owned Panama Canal??

One of my biggest concerns in our hemisphere has been that obama let the chinese buy the PC. it's going to bite us in the butt at some point....arghhh

Boston whalers?

Those are pricey.

Think more along the lines of bayliners.

We should dig a new canal across the northern border of Mexico.

I recently saw that some of the river/passages in Panama that make up the route of the canal are very low because of drought.

Someone will blame climate change and Trump.

According to Pompeo, the Russians talked Maduro into staying in Venezuela. He was ready to bolt

This could get weird

No. It must circumnavigate South America.

The trip around is a bit more than 1600 kilometers. At a cruising speed of about 50kph, it will need an extra two days to get there.

CORRECTION: The trip SEEMED too short, but I did not check the numbers in the website that I saw ... which I should have done. The trip around the Cape is closer to two weeks.
