The replacement rate has been too low for too long, and we all missed it. . .because China has been lying about census data.
China has gotten too old, and they don't have enough skilled labor to replace existing skilled labor set to retire within 10 years.
Powerman is correct, China is on borrowed time. They can't even War themselves out, because they are extremely high energy and food importers, and therefore Russia-style sanctions on China would be the end of China within a year.
