Corporations will comply right up until the right people in top management tell them to frick off. And then, when the best people in mid-levels tell them to frick off.

Finding top talent now is extremely difficult. No company is going to handcuff themselves in this job market if the right people revolt.

They all know this is going to get thrown out...as soon as the first case is heard by the USSC. I assume all will say piss off with your fines until then.

Not saying I agree, but ... I’d wager most large companies prefer this mandate, as it gives them the backstop to make a definitive policy without back and forth from either side. There is one course of action and govt sets it, so the company is off the hook for the decision.
