Maybe I don’t understand ratings but how is an NBA telecast with 1/4 of the viewers of Tucker ahead of him?
Key demographic
Fox isn’t drawing in the 18-49 crowd
They are still dominating the older demographic, though

stuff that's true! They need to up the crazy conspiracy theories to win back the nutjobs and quick!
Okay, then do CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, and NPR over the last 4+ years.

I've caught the 5 recently. Man, they are murdering Juan Willams lol

I enjoyed seeing that shiteater Chris Stirewalt get laid off.
There needs to be more though.
Continued decline will get us there.
Hannity’s rant against Greene last night should give a nice extra push down the tube.

Brett Baier, martha McCuntum, juan williams, richard sweety poo Fowler, marie barf, and Chris Wallace have dragged that network into the shite drain. Good riddance to them.

Fox "news" chose to support leftists over profits. They chose poorly, but maybe that was their plan all along. It amazes me that there is a huge, instant cable TV audience for conservative views and honest, accurate reporting and no investors want to take advantage of it.

I haven't watched Fox News since election day. Even took their preset off my XM radio.

The Five is the only good show left on Fox aside from Levin on Sundays

I'll take things I despise for $1000.
I despise them for their bias (and NPR even more because they are publically funded, ugh). I am not even a fan of Fox because I can't stand cable news in general, though CNN is much worse.
Fox leans conservative but they try to call it based on the truth more than the other networks. Those of you that WANT biased news can frick off. You want cheerleaders, not news. I understand that the other team plays by those rules but that doesn't make it right.
You should be crowing about how Fox actually has courage to do what's right instead of just pandering.

January probably not a good month to compare ratings.
It was basically a Democrat's wet dream month with alleged republican insurrection, sleepy Joe inauguration, and Trump impeachment all inflating viewership.
I'd imagine things get back to normal with Fox leading in viewership going forward and no Trump boogeyman for the left leaning networks to rely on to drum up ratings.

CNN ratings are down 44% the first week of Biden's presidency. Trump was ratings gold for everyone. All the news networks are coming back down to earth.

This chart is ordered based on viewership for the 18-49 demographic. No shite Hannity and Tucker don't dominate that group
Posted on 2/5/21 at 12:29 pm to diremustang
Yes even Bret Baier at 50 has 2 million viewers. The top shows in total viewers are all news shows. Tucker still has 3.5 million viewers.
Posted on 2/5/21 at 12:29 pm to HubbaBubba
I need to take Tucker and Hannity off my DVR
Posted on 2/5/21 at 12:56 pm to HubbaBubba
There is NO WAY what Fox News is doing isn't on purpose, right? As in they are purposely trying to tank their ratings and viewership. If not, then this is one of the greatest examples of the people running a business being COMPLETELY disconnected from their audience.

I cancelled cable 2.5 years ago. If you're still paying for cable, you're a massive part of the problem.
Posted on 2/5/21 at 12:58 pm to Alt26
no one should gaf about this.
cable news is as big a part of the problem in this nation as the government itself.
We need to fight like hell to protect out right to assemble and speak freely on digital platforms like this. This is where I get most of my news.

Turned on Faux Business during the Gamestop deal just to see how they were spinning it. Of course, they were spinning it for Wall Street while trying to scare off the common American. Deleted the app right back off of Roku and haven't thought about Newscorp since. They couldn't possibly go broke enough to suit me.
I don't feel the same about CNN, simply because they are what they are and have always been. I could not care less what they broadcast.
