I'm sooooo glad I work for myself. I thought it was bad when my first firm pressured everyone to give to the United Way. If everyone donated, we got a casual Friday (this was in suit-every day days). I always refused. But they did casual Friday anyway.

Turn Alinsky's rules against them and file grievances with HR every time "white privilege" is mentioned. Give them a mountain of paperwork to deal with.

I was at the Cabelas flagship for diversity store and won 2 diversity awards. They had a revolving door at the management above me and didn’t know I was running a meritocracy. The employees over it. Basically if you were competent and dependable I did everything to support you. If you were not then I did everything I could to remove you. Amazing how that worked. The biggest role any qualifier played was that I hired as many attractive bubbly competent females as I could interview for the gun counter. It helped sell to women and old men.
