Why is everyone shocked. You all have no idea how stacked the Dems are and how they always have contingencies for everything. Even if this vote went through there were a number of other avenues for them to take. They could have installed anitifa to go raise hell at a moments notice, sent the DOJ and FBI down to break some thumbs.
This clown is likely a Dem plant like the majority or at least half of GOP are. They play the game as needed to keep people fooled, but when its time to act they turn.

Yep. Also the moderate Democrat is a myth. Pelosi and Schumer intentionally tell certain (D)s to vote on inconsequential and pointless legislation so they can tout out their moderate voting record in red or purple states. This is a game to trick moderates into believing they are not voting for a radical. Truth is, Manchin and Sinema will vote lockstep however Schumer tells them to vote. no ifs ands or buts. On whatever crazy arse radical stuff they throw at us.

I doubt any of these guys signed up to literally save the Republic, they have no security, no one will back them up, and they are probably scared shitless knowing that if they pull this off 10,000 Antifa or BLM will descend upon their office,homes and family and harass their balls-off; or worse, their wife or child has a single-car accident.

This is how it is in KY. I actually personally know a few of them, and they are not brave. They run for office to make connections and help get legislation that helps them or their buddies. The idea of them risking their personal safety, reputation, or wealth to save this country is unfathomable to them. We need a major overhaul of who and how they get elected top to bottom in this country. Our leaders are pussies.
