Very poorly according to my wife (in the villages). Nobody in the major cities (juneau, anchorage, fairbanks) or outlying suburbs will have any issues.

I can understand Alaska's issue with SOME parts of the bill, and there's arguments to be made for them to have some exemptions, but we all know that the second such reasonable accommodation is made, there will be screaming and wailing as to why New fricking Jersey where people live on top each other with a polling place on almost every corner should get the same accomodation.

Thats the issue with Alaska's congressional delegation. Historically, they have got exemptions...but politics nowadays makes these very difficult because of instances in which you mentioned.

It's not about getting ballots out on time this year. The GOPe is actively torpedoing themselves for the second half of Trump's second term, so that's moot.
It's about cleaning things up for 2028 and beyond. But cleaning it up takes a substantial amount of control away from the Establishment Uniparty and their hold on the system. They don't want voters in charge of who actually gets into office.
If Murkowski wants to complain about and fight against something, it should be the ranked-choice BS in Alaska.

Didn't say I agree with her. I don't. There has to be a way to figure out something for a rural state such as AK.

Where i was at for 3 years (larger hub in SW AK), they didn't have a person that would take the only DMV for the ENTIRE region. My wife took it and lasted a year before COVID completely made that community stupid.
Last I heard they had another one last about two years before they quit. They currently dont have anybody to man the DMV
You think the SS office in cities in the South are bad? Let me tell you how awful the clients are in coastal SW Alaska

Most of them dont have the required documents to get a passport.
Many of them have issues getting proof of residences. They have PO boxes and either the tribe owns the home or they just built a shack in a tundra
