Back in 63 when I was in school, well heck in 34 when I was a youngun we didnt have these issues.
Newsflash folks. When you were in high school they did not have cool multicolored ecstasy pills, and the purchasers did not know they were laced with fentanyl.
The 100,000 ods in the US are not some skid row mainlining heroin addicts, there are some, but the majority are good kids, from good backgrounds, that, like many of us smoking a joint as a kid, they try ecstasy.
But for goodness sake dont warn your kids, tell em its the friggin vaccine. The vaccine caused the deaths, the vaccine caused inflation, the vaccine caused the price of gas to go up, the vaccine is causing global warming, the vaccine made crime skyrocket, the vaccine even makes people tear the Wallace stickers off the backs of cars.
Stop it people, get some help, therapy, drugs, fresh air, anything, but please seek help with this friggin obsession over the vaccine.
By the way, when Biden says the vaccine made him hide the documents.....I bet you folks will support him

If you'd wanted Hughes situation addressed, you should have quoted it. You didn't, because you didn't recognize that, aside from outcome, the two cases had little established medical similarity. FWIW, Hughes' presentation resembles this one, which was also misattributed on this board to the vax.
In a world where Covid confinement led to significant increases in drug deaths, teen suicide, etc. and those effects remain todaY, insinuating blame for every unwitnessed arrest to the vax is stupid.

Fentanyl's direct cardiac effects are quite minimal. It's a heavily used anesthetic during heart surgery for that reason. Lethality is d/t indirect cardio-cerebral hypoxic effects when respiration is unsupported.
In the case of an unwitnessed teen death in a restroom, as was described in the OP, I'd guess that tracks to a drug OD 99-out-of-100 times.

No, you are correct. I’ve mentioned this several times when people try to use drug use as cover for all the sudden deaths by cardiac arrest.

It also stops when you get crushed by crane but the cause of death would not be cardiac arrest.
