There was a reason he wasn't at the press conference today and it is because he was part of the set-up and it wouldn't look good if he was at the press conference if they were going to destroy him when they turn the tables on how Mueller was in on the coup. Let his absence speak volumes that he doesn't agree with Barr right now but it would look much worse if he was standing next to Barr when they blow him up.

Trump clearly knew he was being set up which is why he was so angry and why he refused to be interviewed and only provided written responses. I find it funny that the report doesn't mention anything about the FISA warrants or anything that precipitated the coup d'etat investigation in his reports.

This is only at the 50 yard line right now.

Mueller knew the Russian collusion was BS. They wanted Trump to fire them in order to charge him with obstruction. Now that Barr's investigation of the spying on Trump is about to begin, it is good to know that when the lefties criticize him they are obstructing justice.

Yep, but now the good guys get to play offense. Hopefully, Barr throws out some indictments quick. That’ll shut up the impeachment talk

I honestly feel like this was his "Comey" moment. He wants justice served, yet somehow still straddle the political lines.

The crux of obstruction is clear. Mueller believes Trumps actions could rise to obstruction. However, he understands that Trump felt the investigation was tainted, biased, and politically motivated and therefore intent becomes murky, since as an innocent man, he wouldn't want to obstruct a fair and unbiased investigation.

If Sessions was still AG, this would have been a far different report.

Mueller knew the Russian collusion stuff was bullshite within 24 hours of his appointment. Why it took him almost 2 years to say so...

I agree with this. Once Muller learned there was no collusion, that was their angle.

This has to be why the witch hunt lasted as long as it did. Not so honest Bob was hoping and waiting for TRUMP to slip up.

Its pretty weak to claim obstruction for a crime that so obviously manufactured by the opposing party.

very hard to disagree with you on this, and I will add that if Sessions, the feckless coward, was still AG, the investigation, along with illegal leaks, would not be anywhere near being wrapped up

I'm guessing Mueller was at the first meeting that started the entire coup - long before he was appointed.

This is why Trump needs to act swiftly on probing this whole Russia affair. Once these bad actors start to fall, this whole offensive will end.

Lanny Davis said Trump is guilty of obstructing Justice. The same BS is starting all over again. They won't stop.

They had best truly have Huber and OIG reports and criminal referrals and release of docs or declassifying ready to go quickly.

Just like the perception of Beauty and Truth is subjective...so it is with 'Obstruction'. The idea that Comey and Meuller *colluded* to begin a (*coverup*) *investigation* into an (fraudulent Dossier) instance of *collusion*, is (could be perceived) in and of itself as a form or 'obstruction'. So in effect, Trump's contemplation of firing what is (could be perceived) as a fraud-based/illegal investigation, would not be obstruction of justice, but the proper oversight of the equal application of justice. I.e., doing his damn job.

Meuller knew from the day that he first talked to Weismann - who had been informed via Ohr that the Dossier was an HRC fraud - that the whole thing was corrupt. And Meuller ignored it, and therein...obstructed justice. Dude ought to hang by his cahoonies for that atrocity; it's essentially Sedition...and unforgivable in the cost to our National unity.

they won't stop. Trump could declassify and show a video of Obama ordering oppo research in the FBI and DOJ and the MSM will ignore it and say orange man bad.

Mueller isnt there because he doesn't want to have to answer questions about multiple topics that he knows will give him issues.

Many of the players involved have issues that conflict with the current narrative and multiple questions have been raised in the various hearings that confirm that Trump's assertions that this investigation was started and continued on shaky grounds.

Mueller would have been asked about those... but the problem is that those same questions will be asked by the Republican minority in the House committees...
