My god how can anyone watch that shite arse news network, was forced to have it in my view as it was on a TV behind the bar at a sushi restaurant and my god TDS is at an all time high it seems. Pathetic people actually watch that shite

I have a experiment I do occasionally when I think about it. I turn it on there to see how long it takes from the time I tune in till they mention race and or Trump. I don't think I have ever made it one full minute without one, the other or both.

I used to do this with both MSNBC and CNN, and I'd stick with one until they went deep onto any known absolute lie.
I finally quit wasting the minute or 2 on MSNBC - they are always insufferable for any amount of time.
I have reduced my excursions onto CNN to about 3 a week now - longest I have ever lasted is about 5 minutes.

I do take some of these shite shows in more often than is probably healthy. I’ll admit it. It’s sorta like being a cutter. But also, to me anyway, it can be quite entertaining with the hysteria and screeching and manic episodes amongst entire panels of people and crying and extreme unease any time Trump’s name is raised.

You’re going to have to look in the mirror on this one. The guy very clearly stated it was on a tv at a bar at a restaurant. He wasn’t tuning in.
The reason I am asking you to look in the mirror is because we have a problem with people only paying passive attention to what is happening . We have an abundance of headline readers who respond to provocative headlines without regard to the actual details.
This means YOU just showed us a textbook example of one of the most common examples of flawed analysis and/or emotionally responding with reaction statements rather than engaging in well reasoned interactions with people.

I completely dropped cable and I’m not even 40. It’s all trash designed to manipulate you. There are so many options to entertain you. I’m a guy so I like more non fiction stuff, like documentaries these days anyway. I wasn’t even watching YTTV.

When I bartended, I'd put fox news on one TV and another on CNN/MSN.
Ppl would see Fox and turn away and make sighing noise etc.
Ppl who turned away from CNN/MSN would merely turn away.
