Those are not asylum seekers, and you know it. What country are they being perecuted by, and why are they seeking asylum from a country at a minimum, separated by at least 1 country? Why aren't they seeking asylum in the neighboring country? Why are Chinese, Middle Eastern Countries, Argentinians, Venezuelans, El Salvadorians, etc... not seeking asylum in the neighboring country?

Regardless, I’ve told you a substantive reason I oppose the bill. Multiple in fact. My opposition is not political or concerned with who gets credit or whatever. I oppose the bill because it’s bad policy.
