This is hilarious. Bannon saying there has never been a major bill crashing and burning like this before and that Turtle is humiliated.

Well he certainly isn’t a snappy comeback turtle. Or at least not a very good one.

It’s real simple. Just enforce laws on the books.

Fund additional security measures. Secure the border. End the trafficking.

Then work on a bill to modernize the immigration system. Illegals here already are either deported or can stay as permanent residents with no pathway to citizenship, ever. They get to work. But they don’t get to vote.

Tax remittances at 95%.

And frick any additional funds for Ukraine.

It’ll never happen because it might actually succeed.

Part of the reason for the melt is that they are realizing that they are irrelevant and that they can’t control the narrative. Twitter/X is driving things now.

I don't get it. Are we supposed to be glad now that the government isn't addressing the crisis at the border?

You familiar with what was in this fricking bill?

It didn’t “fix” the border, it institutionalized what is going on at the border.

Either your being dishonest or just totally ignorant. I don't believe your ignorant because it's been explained in 4 or 5 different threads this morning!

I don't think Turtle knows where he is. He and Biden are probably sipping soup together getting their daily adderall

So, you think that bill was a) designed to actually fix the border crisis and b) was actually NEEDED in order to fix the border crisis?

You're either ignorant or dumb, or both.

Joetato could close the border right now, today, using existing laws and powers under his control.

The puppetmasters controlling him don't want it closed. It's that simple.

Some of you progressives are incredibly dishonest.

You would rather a horrible bill is passed rather than taking the time to do what is “right”.

This bill is a perfect representation of how utterly broken our legislature is.

And you want this type of governance?
