I don't believe Romney will go against a constituency that is very conservative especially for Supreme Court Justices.

I hope the douche doesn't prove me wrong

Even if Collins bolts, you have Pence ready.

Don't underestimate Mittens. The TDS is strong with him. Not to mention he is the biggest RINO ever.

I don't believe he will Flake (pun intended) out on Justice confirmation votes.

He would on other matters but even his mostly religious constituency would string him up if he was responsible for keeping a good, conservative Justice nominee out.

And since basically the Senate will only accomplish getting court appointments done for the next couple years, Romney is fine with me for that.

Doesn’t matter now. It gives us something else to celebrate in 2020.

On Kavanaugh yes, on repealing Obamacare and many other issues, no. And she has a tough reelection coming up in 2020 so she's gonna want to hedge on lots of things. She is a moderate to liberal Republican at best and is far from a solid vote. But still much better than a Democratic senator from Maine would be, so you take what you can get...

Romney will toe the line on judicial nominees. That is the most important thing.
