I wish we had someone who could challenge him,
Why? What aspect of his presidency is hurting you

You’ve fallen a long way, my man.
It's not my fault Trump has surrounded himself with a lot of GOPe hacks and Never Trumpers in his administration that's openly sabotaging him especially on immigration and waiting him out for a Nikki Haley or Marco Rubio campaign.
Trump needs to remember who his real friends are and why and how he won the nomination and got elected President in the first place.
Some healthy competition from the right, the MAGA right would do Trump a world of good.
It's no different than a business chain needing completion to be inspired to improve their services and products.

I don’t disparage his service or his posts.
He’s one of the best here, but holding Trumps feet to the fire & outright calling for a primary opponent are 2 VERY different things...

Primary opponents are good for everyone. Competition breeds excellence

I agree with all that but a primary challenge is not the way to do that.
I think you’ll see a very different inner circle for his 2nd term,

I rarely forget the misapplication of a term and the endless hole digging, topped off by the declaration of victory! But you calling out mrcartin as a troll...ironic?
Perhaps a misapplication on my part.

Always been okay in my book

I’d say advocating for a primary opponent is a pretty strong way to hold his feet to the fire

Not following the question. Def not a Toddy alter! Been around for years, just worked for a living. Now that that’s out of the way I get to spend more time engaged is the life changing discussions.

The trend lately with Trump has been he's basically Jeb Bush with some mean tweets. He literally called for more legal immigration recently at a corporate CEOs meeting like Jeb Bush would. That's alarming.
A step in the right direction would be to send his liberal daughter and democrat son in law back to New York or at least sideline them from immigration, military related foreign policy and trade. Just keep them working on pet, niche issues and away from the meat and potato issues.
