I agree 100%
But opening him up to a primary challenger is the wrong way imo.
A unified GOP must be maintained. A nasty primary challenger would be typical R fashion of stepping on their own dick.

This time, it would have to be from the right and that's something that would make Trump nervous.
Not someone from Trump's left like Larry Hogan, John Kasich or Charlie Barker. Those are nonstarters and a complete joke and Trump would easily crush them.

I am not disagreeing with you here, but thinking a corporate man like Trump not doing corporate things is a little naive maybe.

Was just curious how someone who has been registered less than a week knows a poster. You definitely aren’t Toddy. Not 200 downvotes in the first hour.
Welcome to the jungle.

I’ll bite:
I say that because as a 2nd term pres, you don’t have to worry abt re election or who you give favors to or who you run with.
You can go all out for your agenda, you can take risks and be bold.
He won’t have to placate to certain swamp/establishment folk. And all math points to gop regaining the house and keeping senate

Yep, need a real conservative to push him

Nobody can beat him in a primary. The GOPe abandoned that about 1 year ago. It's been a steady battle to chain him since then. That fake Syria withdrawal was the last gasp of his campaign.

I know they can’t beat him but they can sure do a lot of unnecessary damage and show the Left chinks in his armor.
So unnecessary, we can let him breeze to the Gen debates and let the Left cannibalize their own field with their huge candidate roster.

Look, I'm going to be voting against the democrats in 2020 no matter what even if its Trump or someone else like Ted Cruz.
But if you want to make this Presidency amazing and get it back on track away from the open borders corporatist direction the GOPe hacks and RINOs have it on right now, Trump needs competition to force him to make that a reality.

A step in the right direction would be to send his liberal daughter and democrat son in law back to New York or at least sideline them from immigration, military related foreign policy and trade.
This is the least likely scenario. Wait til Jared's absolutely idiotic Middle East peace plan is unveiled. If the Jpost article is even remotely true, it's absolutely one of the dumbest ideas in world history. Jared is trying to be a retarded, Brooks Brother version of Kissinger or something.

Ok. I figured as much. I personally don't think it works like this, but it's not a baseless prediction.
Is this Mueller/Russia BS gonna close before then?

Trump for the first year and a half governed like a real conservative and I was pleasantly surprised and genuinely enjoyed it but lately he has been President Jeb Bush with a hell of a spicy twitter account.

This.
The real danger of trump is his immunity to typical conservative criticism about things like gun control. It's maddening how much breathing room he gets.

MrCarton is a blatant troll here
There are a handful of blatant trolls here. They basically get a free pass for some reason. One was trying to engage me just this morning, but I didn't take the bait.
One more reason, of many, why I like a particular thread so much more than the generic board as a whole. The Admins keep that thread clean and allow for intelligent discussion.

Or, it can bring out the old trump and get him talking about the Midwest, American jobs and the "forgotten man" he's currently planning to replace with cheap foreign labor.
