There's already a movement to change the Euro to all-digital format. Electronic money.

Have you folks heard of this?

When do you suppose US Mass Media will begin to propagandize on behalf of the all-digital US Dollar?

It will happen here sooner than most realize - read The Curse of Cash by Kenneth Rogoff. The academic community is setting it in motion.

A government controlled digital money is a terrible idea. At least with cash, we still have some level of anonymity if citizens choose. That is completely wiped out with a digital dollar. It would have to be a decentralized digital currency (i.e. something like Bitcoin).

Just another step out of the Marxist playbook. Control our money control our lives.

I don't see this happening in the USA anytime soon. Of course if the left ever takes over total control of our government then nothing they do would shock me. Their ultimate goal is to remove all of our freedoms and separating people from their cash where their purchases could be more easily monitored would certainly fit within that scheme.

Govt will never ever ever willingly give up control over the monetary system.

Terrible idea.

What happens when a store loses internet connectivity? They just can't make sales for a day?

Start listening to Robert Kiyosaki's daily radio show. And binge Youtube of his old ones from the past few years.

This thread theme a common topic, and he has many great guests.

Don’t know about digital, but guarantee you if Biden wins there will be a huge movement to move money.

DJIA will plummet.

Already happens, most cash registers of major chain stores are connected to remote company servers, no internet connection, no sales can be made. Have personalay experienced it a couple of times.

You need both electronic and hard currency in the economy. If you are American some say a safe deposit box and a savings account in Canada is also a must. Canada took the Obama regime to The Hague and is one of the only countries that will not tattle on your finances.

Already have back up systems. Mako which uses a cellular signal when internet goes down. Also most new register systems will batch credit card transaction offline, then push them thru once connection is reestablished.

Seems like a lot of the crook investors tied to the Biden corruption had involvement with cryptocurrency, so (a) I assume the media will push it and (b) it is bad for America.

16 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.

Rev. 13:16-17

Bill Gates et al are working on this also.
