Depending on the poll, it is around 20-25 percent. Republicans are going to be in a mess regarding this. They have screamed that all abortion is murder from the roof tops, now they will have a chance to enact that into law, and most people don’t agree.

I mean, it is murder.

The question is simply at what POINT is it murder? Religiously, most people believe the point of conception = God recognizing a life and therefore murder on day 1. I disagree, as I have the luxury of not being religious. However, even my feelings on it are that it is murder pretty early on.

Now is not a time for the weak minded or compromising ilk of people. Whether it hurts "republicans" or not is irrelevant.

I would be willing to bet that it's much higher than the percentage of people that believe you should be able to perform full-term abortions.

There are times to protect the rights of the minority even if the majority disagrees. In this case it’s the life of the unborn.

Try again. Your slip is showing. All that is changing is the involvement of the Federal Government. States will make the choice and most will fall back to the original Supreme Court ruling in Roe V Wade. One trimester, everything after left to the state.

Republicans will not be in a "mess" over this. The nation will on the verge of economic collapse and starvation by the time November comes around.

Even if I'm on the minority side of murdering infants, (and if I WERE, the left wouldn't have to re-define what abortion is, what a baby is, what life is, etc. etc. to push their agenda) I'm fine with that. This is beyond politics. This is evil.

Why are you so hung up on abortion? How many of your babies were you able to kill?

They now have the opportunity to make it illegal in the states they have the majority in, and if they do so they will be roundly mocked and voted out.

Not really. Many, like me, are mostly worked up about the constitutional issue. I really will not get worked up about what happens on the State level.

Heartbeat is less significant to me and more symbolic. Brain activity (ie feeling pain / fear) is where I start to draw the line really fast.

Is that the type of laws you anticipate some states making if Roe is overturned?
