Since the OP couldn't be bothered to include a link, I have no idea why the Left would revolt against Morrissey, but the guy has been an absolute gay icon for decades so that just shows you how absurd the Left has become.

If you would have told me in the 80's & 90's that Morrissey would be considered an enemy of the Left I would have laughed in your face. He is a gay man from England who is smart enough to know what damage the influx of Muslim migrants are doing to his country & all of Europe. He realized they would throw a person like him off of a roof to his death if they ever take over & have full power over the state. Morrisey is based & the Left is pissed that their former legendary hero is not on their side. We are living in full clown world/Idiocracy.

Wait, he’s gay? Seriously never gave it two seconds worth of thought, not that it surprises me one bit. Like if somebody told you Freddie Mercury or Rob Halford are gay. OK, and so what? They were performers to the rest of the world first, just like Morrissey.

Makes no sense that they want to kill Morrisey. Back in the day, he and the Smiths were beloved by the leftist, new wave crowd simply because they were British and not all that popular in the USA. Sort of like U2 (yeah, I know, Irish) before Joshua Tree.
