More bad news on Covid vaccines and myocarditis in men under 40

The study, which British researchers released in late December, showed that the risk of myocarditis almost doubled after the first Pfizer shot in men under 40. Then it doubled again after the second and doubled again after the third - to almost eight times the baseline risk.

Trust the science, unless one of the most prominent researchers in the field and one of the creators of the technology say don’t trust the science. Sorry I don’t think I can say that, Twitter will ban you for referencing such propaganda.

I said there is an increased risk for young men. I haven’t said otherwise.
I also said not everyone that dies or has a heart attack is related to vaccines, and it’s incredibly perverse to post it every time.

You are trying to suggest that there is absolutely no tie in between the vaccine and heart attacks. You are naively limiting vaccine-induced myocarditis to only those under 20 like it knows to stop there so IYO all other heart issues in those over 20 is just par for the course despite growing (yes as of now anecdotal) evidence.

I read the paper. It is laughable people are making a big deal out of this. TL;DR at bottom.
Here's the facts:
1) In this study they looked at over 40 million patients who had been vaxxed, boosted or infected. So it's a very good sample size with a lot of statistical power.
2) In women under 40 they found an increase in myocarditis in gals who had been jabbed with a second dose of Moderna (IRR=7.55 or 8 per 1 million), but not with other vaccines. However, women under 40 who get COVID have a 7 per 1 million chance of myocarditis. In other words, there is almost no difference in the Moderna jab and getting COVID. And the other vaccines have a lower risk of myocarditis than COVID does.
3) In females over 40 they found zero correlation with myocarditis for any of the vaccines. In fact, getting COVID increases the risk of myocarditis much more than the vaxx (39 per 1 million cases in older women with COVID). So if you're a female over 40 it's better to get vaxxed. Period.
4) In men under 40 they found an increased risk of myocarditis with all three vaccines. However, it was not that much over baseline EXCEPT for Moderna's vaxx. A second dose of Moderna increased risk by 16 times over baseline (or 101 cases per million). Following a third dose of Pfizer, they found an IRR of 7.60 which comes out to 13 per 1 million. For comparison, if an under 40 male gets COVID his risk of myocarditis is about 2 times over baseline (or 7 in 1 million). So 13 per million with Pfizer or 7 per 1 million with COVID. It's not some huge difference.
5) In men over 40, they found that getting COVID itself increases risk of myocarditis MORE than the vaccine (6 times vs. 2.48 times). So if you're an over 40 male, you're better off getting vaxxed. Period.
And now a quote from the paper itself:

In case you don't know, mRNA-1273 = Moderna.
