Not even close my friend.
28% of cali, that is recorded, is foreign born, throw in at least a couple of anchor babies. that means the per capita OF TAXPAYERS versus population means that cali number per capita owed puts them in the top five.
Now factor in how they "estimate" the return on calpers investments, they are number one.
Now take out of the budget all the theft, and it is theft of stealing matching funds from federal programs, and yes they are totally screwed.

If Newsom gets elected President, his first order of business will be to have the FedGov bail out the California pension system. Book it.

Can’t believe NY isn’t higher.
I’m sure the city is.

When it comes to blue states and blue cities going under, I don't care. That's what they voted for. Baton Rouge may have barely been saved, but there are other places that are just going to keep digging holes. Eventually they won't have anywhere else to dig and the federal government isn't going to save them.

I remember someone posting a few months ago that the Big 10 was wanting private equity to invest in the league because the conference wanted all members outside of Cali to pay a substantial amount of money into the California state pension for some reason. And that’s why Michigan, Northwestern and another program said “frick no. Tell them to fix their own problems”

If Gavin wins the presidency you may see a legit uprising in this country

They'll expect the Federal Government to bail them out like NYC.
And it will happen
