Because telling women to settle for less would go over sooooooooo well…

Here’s the deal. There’s a pay gap because women accept those jobs. If they didn’t men would and then support those women. You can’t whine about a pay gap when you’re not in the workforce. If women didnt accept shite pay the women that accept good pay would out-earn men.

Some need to accept that their womb is their best value if that’s what the men they want want

Bc you idiots think and act emotionally and would rather spend 300 a month on nails and makeup than save it. Youd rather spend 30 dollars on a "healthy meal" than 5 dollars on a pack of hotdogs thats good for 4 dinners. Men need about 300 sq ft of space to live in. Yall want 2000 for all your STUFF. Men can make 5 outfits last a year. Yall want to go shopping for new shite every week. Men work overtime. Women go out for drinks with the girls at 430.

You are such an emotional poster. You must have been a spoiled child used to getting your way because you unravel at the thought that someone exists who hasn’t been indoctrinated with your exact vile takes.

NC has posted that the gender pay gap is fake for 15 years but I’m not supposed to notice that he posted an article centered on the gender wealth gap.

such a tired boomer take.

The women I work with are awesome. We hate working with men because where I work they don’t do shite except act as barriers to people who are trying to do their jobs. I met my closest friends at different jobs I’ve had over the last 15 years.

Can you imagine if this nutjob cubbie was smart enough to be in charge of a lot of women/people...lol

I can’t imagine being so unfulfilled and insecure that you think it’s a flex to boss other adults around at a job. A condition I have for employment is that I refuse to manage anyone. You and our other resident angry boomer Roger will continue posting about how superior supervisors are as if any millennials actually want to supervise anyone.

Research: Millennials & Gen Z Aren’t Interested in Management

I run a program by myself with no direct reports.

NC has never once said women stereotypically earn what men do. However, your contention is there's a gender pay/salary differential for identical jobs performed identically. NC has posted that contention is poorly founded.

Frankly, the most interesting element in the OP IMO is the matter-of-fact nonchalance with which a lack of generational foresight is simply accepted.

As the thread's first response put it ... "Who would have thought that pooling assets, earnings and expenses was the way to go?"

Yet, whether it's here or in SFP's Chamath Palihapitiya thread, the fact 30-somethings lack the intuitive skills or discipline to responsibly anticipate future effects of their present day decisions is simply an accepted truth. It's not critiqued. It's simply accepted. There is zero assignment or acceptance of self-responsibility for predictably poor decisions.

E.g., In response to an article contending more American women are single than ever before—and it’s costing them big money, the response is ... It's the Boomers' fault .... RogertheBoomer etc. etc.

I really dislike talking stereotypes because there are ALWAYS exceptions.

But your position is that Gen-Y wants nothing to do with stepping into the same management responsibilities which they've been bitching "boomers" refuse to relinquish. The incessant complaint was "boomers" refuse to step down from management spots and give millennials a chance. Now when "boomers" are stepping down from management spots, giving millennials their chance, you say millennials don't want it?

Do you not pick up on the irony?

The poor decisions to be single? I doubt most single people claim they prefer to be single than in a healthy relationship.

I don’t blame boomers for people being single. Roger has turned into an a-hole, to be frank, and it isn’t because he’s a boomer but he is a very stereotypical boomer in all the worst ways.

My position is that millennials generally to not wish to be managers. Research supports that position.

I haven’t made that complaint.

Well yeah disciplining and firing people goes against every woke principle we’ve been taught. No one wants to be seen as power hungry or an arse

Single women don't have to have less wealth. Those who save and invest wisely can build wealth for themselves regardless of marital status.

But it's not the way to go. Women shouldn't have assets; they should be at home raising and educating the kids.

Not men’s fault that women are typically less assertive in contract negotiations and easily manipulated through “team building” shite that doesn’t put money in their pockets.
