You can force someone to have a child and then cut off benefits when the parent(s) aren't able to make enough money to support said child. Lazy people won't work and they will find criminal means to make money if, and many times if not, their benefits are taken away.

I'm pro-choice and anti-welfare, with the exception for extreme cases... elderly people and actually disabled parents. I don't know how you can justify being pro-life and anti-assistance though. If you want to force people to have kids, you have to make sure that said kids are taken care of because it's not the kids fault that their parent(s) are pieces of shite.

They do support abortion.

They have abortions.

They have them at the same rate as any other group.

The only difference is they think their situation is unique.

It’s still ok to criminalize conduct that is universally considered to be morally aborrent when it harms another living being. We have criminal laws against people harming animals for chrissake.

I’m ambivalent about abortion being legal - because I would never have one. Not even if my life were at stake. It matters not whether it were legal. I think It’s morally wrong. It’s a bright line for me. I personally would not kill my baby, even if my baby daddy left me. That can be on his conscience. It won’t be on mine.

Legalizing abortion removed the natural consequences of bad decision making. It just engenders more bad decision making now, because there is an easy way out. The rule was there to protect the innocent, and to enforce a responsible society. Allowing more abortions does NOT prevent irresponsible parenting. Believe it’s ok to be legal. Fine. That’s btwn you and your conscience. But please acknowledge you are participating in a moral rationalization.
