Exactly. We're droning civilians of other countries at least 1,000 miles away who are delivering coke to the Caribbean or Central America based on the attenuated link that they are killing kids here with fentanyl.

Because youre looking at it from an extremely emotional position, and I see it as it really exists, the realm of economics.

Then our war should be with Mexican cartels, not Venezuelan cocaine shipments, correct?

This "police action" is being sold by false advertising.

Yep, people will believe anything the government tells them if they can make it a righteous crusade, even under false pretenses.

Seeing it from an economic standpoint does not make it legal.

these "fishermen" are still bringing cocaine and other drugs

Why don’t you prove that before executing them and destroying all the evidence?

No, but it gives you a bigass clue as to the causes, and how to effectively fight it.

Do you view Appalachian bootleggers running booze during prohibition as harshly as cocaine boats out of Venezuela?

So you know what was on the "fishing" boats. You must have insider info from the Dems in DC

So you are saying that illegal drugs were involved in Rob R.’s death?

So you are good with him dying?

Why don't you prove they were fisherman? C'mon man. Get on down to the Venezuelan docks and let everyone know you are there to help prove to the world the US is killing fisherman.

No…they were Americans.

I get it though, you love foreigners like the CCP.

LINK

The Trump administration has largely pointed to the lethality of fentanyl as a justification for the U.S. military strikes on purported drug smuggling vessels linked to Venezuela, but the synthetic drug largely comes into the United States from Mexico.

quote:

Most illicit fentanyl in the U.S. comes from Mexico, not Venezuela, and is made with chemicals from Chinese labs. It enters the U.S. mainly through the southern border at official ports of entry, and it’s smuggled in mostly by U.S. citizens.

"There is no evidence of fentanyl or cocaine laced with fentanyl coming from Venezuela or anywhere else in South America," Smilde said.

No, I am looking at things as they are. You are the one trying to redefine criminality. If you want to argue that bombing these drug boats is too extreme, there is a case to be made there. There is no case for saying these people willfully working for the cartel are innocent.

None of us are. These decisions are being made unilaterally with no evidence provided.

Rog, you can spend the rest of your days telling them that there is no link between Venezuela and fentanyl, it won't matter. Nevermind that even Donald's own DEA has never even attempted to show that link. It doesn't matter.

Fentanyl is a convenient emotional ploy of manipulation when it comes to our goals in Venezuela.
