I support ending the drug war and full legalization, rolling back defense spending, shrinking the military and entitlements, I'm for gay marriage, polyamorous marriage too, are those really the ideas of an "R"?

I support all of these things too. But I bet you don't believe me that I do.

These are the candidates she it talking about.

That is a far cry from "vote democrat regardless of what they say or do.'

How long would any conservative of any color survive associating 'fried chicken' and blacks in the same sentence?

In Texas, voters are not required to state their party affiliation. If I did have to choose, I would register as an Independent. Personally, I can't stand the Republican Party. Just like the Democrat Party, there are too many bureaucrats who are far more interested in holding on to power and maintaining the status quo, as opposed to making hard decisions and doing what's right for the country. I have nothing but contempt for the likes of Boehner, McConnell, McCain, Graham, etc.

Now, do I despise the Democrats even more? Sure do. For all of their shortcomings, at least the GOP isn't blatantly anti-American like Obama, Holder, Pelosi, Reid, etc. Those people, imo, represent and embody the worst part of America.

I didn't vote straight GOP. I voted for several Libertarian candidates, even though im not a Libertarian, either.

I refuse to vote for ANY Democrat, though. Why? Because Democrat politicians, Obama being one example, are the only people who make speeches and purposely mention women and minorities, as if white males no longer exist in America. I may not have graduated from Harvard, but I'm smart enough to know that, when some bigot is including everybody except my gender and race combination, that racist son of a bitch is no friend of mine.

I speak liberal. What Hawkeye meant to say was..

"If you do not believe me when I tell you who I voted for, why should I believe you?"

I like Hawkeye but he's not terribly bright. And I mean that in a good way, Hawk.

Well Breitbart is the Right's Media Matters (but for some reason it's the most linked site here) and he took 40 seconds out of a much longer interview of her. So you didn't get to hear her state the reasons. If you care to listen you can go to the TV One site or you can read part of it here:
When talking about tomorrow’s elections, Mrs. Obama said, “… the midterm elections are so important to a president’s ability to move his agenda because essentially if you think about it, midterm elections are when the country gets to determine the nature and the composition of the team that the President has to work with and that is Congress, the governors throughout the states. This is essentially the President’s team and what his team looks like will determine how successful he will be on passing his agenda.”
Mrs. Obama also made the idea of voting during midterm elections a personal matter for voters by saying, “… this is not about Barack, not about the person on the ballot, it’s about you.” She also explained the midterm elections are just as important if not more important than the presidential race because “every single race around the country is going to be tight and its neck and neck. So the margins of difference could be as small as four or five votes per precinct.”
The First Lady went on to say your vote can make the difference in your child having access to early child hood education and the difference in your state raising minimum wage, “… that’s why we’ve been pushing so hard to make sure people are paying attention to these midterms.”
Listen to First Lady Michelle Obama’s exclusive “NewsOne Now” interview below and make sure yo

My point, VB, which apparently went right over your head, is that Dems like Obama routinely talk about women and minorities, which leaves out white males. Here's a crazy thought. Why can't the son of a bitch tout policies that, according to him, would be good for everybody? You think it's a coincidence that the scumbag almost always excludes white males? You're smarter than that, right.

It has nothing to do with being insecure. It's about knowing who your enemies are.

And as for the "blacksessed" comment, you only think of blacks when somebody says "women and minorities"? Maybe you're the one who is blacksessed.

VB, you're a typical example of why I said on pg 1 of this thread that I am happy im not a liberal. You guys can't debate the honest facts, because truth is not on your side. You're reduced to catchphrases and deflective comments that dont even make sense.

Edit - obtw, I don't believe that you have voted for GOP candidates for President. Anybody who defends a complete failure like Obama as much as you do has probably never voted anything other than Democrat.
