So you don't have a problem with her saying that you should vote Democrat regardless of what they've accomplished?!?! I'm not surprised. You have an amazing skill at ignoring the substance of a post and just going into your own, predictable direction with it. It's boring already!

To be fair, she hasn't said anything that most politicians or political parties haven't hinted at in the past but this is the exact reason why the 2 party system needs to be taken out.
Oh, there are plenty of people who have said you should always vote republican, like i dunno 2/3 of this board.

That being said, First Ladies should be seen and not heard.
this isn't the 1950s, nor should it be. Past first ladies have been used to help the election. Laura bush, hrc, barbara bush, and nancy reagan all got involved in elections.
They are a very useful tool, why leave them on the bench due to anachronistic attitudes about woman?

good god. Do you agree that articulating reasons to vote for one side is the same as vote for us regardless of what we say or do?

What about people who say and do the same but for republicans? Both sides are sheep.

Did you read what he wrote? First ladies should be seen not heard, which I think is fricking retarded. Thus my response.

I know Obama's wife is talking about the black community.
Its no different than people vote keep voting against dems, yet dem policies benefit them much more. Or middle class and wealthy blacks always voting for dem. People don't think for themselves.

"I really don't think about the idea of having a Democrat-led House and Senate because I don't think it's going to happen," Bush said.
"I believe if our candidates continue to talk about the strong economy, based upon low taxes, and an administration and a Congress that was willing to give professionals the tools necessary to protect (citizens from terrorism) we'll win this election," he said.
When asked about Democratic critics of the Iraq war, Bush said: "My answer to them is listen to Osama bin Laden who says, 'Our objective is to defeat America,' which will embolden the terrorists, which will then enable (al-Qaeda) to have safe haven, just like they had in Afghanistan. And we're not going to let them do it."
Weaaaaaaaaaaaaaaak
I thought you were going to come back with something good.

You think that MO would say - well I think you should vote republican today b.c my husband sucks at his job?

The problem is that they get involved in things like this and they get the attitude that they are actually elected officials or politicians when, in actuality, they just so happen to be married to one. I would say the same for the First Man (or gentleman, whatever they would call it). He should be seen and not heard.
They're not elected officials and should be confined to the realm of charity. Period.

I am a little confused with what you are trying to say here.

No way is this even in the same realm as what Mitch said. You're a fool.

a) it's "MOO" not "MO"
b) you don't actually expect anything of intelligence coming out of that ignoramus do you?
c) why would MOO show any respect for the traditions and customs of the wife of the POTUS, it's not like either of them have any respect for ANYTHING that has happened before they came along. THEY ARE the new "hopey changey" rebuilt America, not the old evil, white, racist America,, they are simple and transparent

yes I do. The board is much more libertarian the hardcore R. I'm sorry you're an idiot.

She didnt even articulate a reason. She said just vote for us...REGARDLESS OF WHAT WE DO OR SAY.
that's inane babble from a moron.

Poor whites who live on gov't handouts, shittalk dems and vote republican blindy over and over. Yet dem policies help them more.

But in my lifetime, they have never done this. So it would be completely new for them to stay "in the kitchen".
Laura bush stumped for her hubby. HRC did the same for hers. Nancy reagan did too. I don't recall barbara bush doing a ton there but I do recall her being pro-choice. I was too young for carter and ford but I assume their wives got involved in their political activities.

This board has a LOT of libertarians. Unfortunately not every race includes a libertarian.

no just pathetic, what's atrocious is that they have such disdain and HATE for the traditions of the USA, they absolutely despise anyone who isn't like them but they are what they are, sad, simple, stupid people.

Maybe they are not voting blindly. Maybe they believe in conservative ideas. Just because one is poor does not mean he does not have pride, and feels it is wrong to take from one to give to another. The difference is MO came right out and said to vote blindly.
