The world may tell Christians to submissively accept the legitimization of Satan, but none of the founders would have considered government sanction of Satanic altars inside Capitol buildings as protected by the First Amendment," Cassidy said. "Anti-Christian values have steadily been mainstreamed more and more in recent decades, and Christians have largely acted like the proverbial frog in the boiling pot of water."
I like the cut of this man’s jib

You’re gonna be really surprised to learn people don’t actually believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster either

Like destroying private property in the spirit of stomping on our constitution? You think that's how you save america?
I'm old enough to remember when separation of church and state meant no religious displays on public property.

Why do you think this statue was placed at the capitol?

Seems we went through a spell like this. I just assumed it had continued.

To pay homage to their deity.

Oh, right. It's all a joke, see? Snicker, snicker.
That's why they're building temples and erecting statues. To "start a conversation". It's not real satanism.

Kind of.
It's in response to other religions putting up displays.

More to make a point about violating the separation of church and state to return to what you posted about.

As in worshiping Lucifer/Satan? It is 100% NOT that.

Why are you so attracted to this argument if you aren't in fact a Satanist?
Is it because you want to rustle the jimmie's of Christians for sport?
Do you just really, really like the contrarian stance so much that this is the apex of said stance?
Do you REALLY believe that the fact that they are using laws to control the visibility of Christianity is all just a practice of logic and legal practice - and not driven by something they won't admit publicly?
Did someone actually try to erect a Christian display at this capital before they did this, or is this just their stance against the "christianity" of christmas trees?

You can go one step further and add "really don't like COS/TST types".
It's a simple argument, to answer your question.

I'm being very respectful explaining what is actually going on.

What is contrarian about consistent principles?
Either religious iconography is allowed or we go back to separation of church and state. I personally prefer the latter.
I just understand what happens with the former, and it's this.

Yes. 100%.

Multiple religions/groups were permitted to have displays. q

Sure it is. I understand you support these clowns. I guess if it's not a real religion (And certainly if that's the case, they haven't filed for tax exempt status as a religious group. That would be fraud.) then I guess there's no issue with destroying their "not religious" decorations.
Yet here you are, strenuously objecting and defending.
