If it says "Satan" in it, I generally associate it with deceit, lies and subterfuge. Kinda like pretty much every three-letter federal agency. Perhaps my voluntary ignorance of the distinguishing differences between the Church and Temple is an error, and the understanding of said differences would actually enlighten my perspective.
It's hard to want to take interest in what I know is unholy and evil, but "know your enemy" and all...
You simply aren't smart and nuanced enough to know the difference between THIS Satan and THAT Satan. Only the erudite, cool kids are in on that incredibly clever inside joke.

I wish HIGHLY trained and patriotic Veterans would take other actions to save our nation and the world.

The church of Satan is about expanding hedonism as a worldview. A subset of that does not prioritize making sure that you don't consider the effects your actions have on others. That's my main deal with it but not really evil (if you want to get into the Kant v Mills thing it's relevant).
The Temple is about expanding religious freedom and making legal challenges to religious aspects of public policy, which is very useful and in-line with the Enlightenment background of our Founding Fathers. Personally, I think it's very patriotic and would be received better amongst conservatives if they sat and thought about it past the word "Satan".
Neither believe in Satan, both are atheistic organizations.
