I'm finished discussing it. Let's just see how it all plays out. We all should have known there would be witnesses the entire time.

Our federal government has been railroaded by a partisan Congress. And a complicit Senate.

There will be hell to pay for this.

About 30 minutes until Senate resumes. Time for Lindsey to shite or get off the pot with this "impromptu" presser.

Could be worse. Could be a "libertarian".

Agreed, but the problem because it will only be one sided. Presidents have way too much power right now.

Regardless, Trump is correct to invoke EP no matter how short or long that process may take to unravel. But I sorta get the feeling given the current climate that it would be a tad adversarial in every way possible. I.e. take a nice chunk of time.

I don't have a problem with looking at how much a president can do with his phone and his pen, but if you think SCOTUS is currently in line with what the founders intended you're smoking something. There's only as much parity as SCOTUS allows these days.

Have a couple witnesses, take the vote, acquit Trump and move on.

Do you really think Democrats would allow just "a couple of witnesses" and would go through that process quickly? The witness thing will drag this thing out probably a month.
