Sounds like someone requested military ballots (typically a GOP group, I would think), and the official just sent them without confirming the address or confirming a military background.quote:
Yes, this is correct. That’s because it was a sting operation to catch said official.
But the question remains, “Did they catch fraud, or did they catch incompetence?”

If this is just laziness, how does it benefit one party more than the other?
If there is a verification process that is supposed to take place before the ballot is sent out, then what she did is fraud. It's her freaking job. And one of the most important one's at that. It's not like putting a cheeseburger in a bag that is supposed to be a hamburger. That's lazy.

It is only “fraud” if there is intent or (in some cases) “willful neglect.”
This is just another example of the “extremism” that I described a few days ago. For an extremist, this MUST be fraud by a Dem, and we must be COMPLETELY unwilling to even CONSIDER the possibility that it might be mere incompetence. Any suggestion to the contrary MUST be discarded.
It is crazy.

7. In the course of the person's official duties or on account of the person's official position, intentionally violate or intentionally cause any other person to violate any provision of chs. 5 to 12 for which no other penalty is expressly prescribed.
Seems like she is dangerously close to this one.

What a crock of crap.
You say that as if everyone from the right will defend fraud or lying or whatever from a Repub no matter what. Believe it or not, that is not the case for most of us. Fraud is fraud is fraud. I don't care if they are Rep or Dem, they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Given your performance on this board today, I wold refrain from using the word "crazy" when describing anyone other than AggieHank.

It's not extreme to think somebody, especially somebody that is an election official, should do her job with utmost integrity. McDonald's workers can be incompetent all they want. Somebody handling election ballots, not so much.

You're obviously in the midst of some sort of breakdown judging by your posts today(yes, they're dumber than normal).

Or maybe the democrat sent them to the republican as a set up.
Two can play this game.

Hell I hope he keeps posting.
He totally destroyed any illusion of integrity he thought he projected.
Today's performance removed all doubt: AggieHank is the biggest liar on this board, bar none.

Celticdog said yesterday, that election fraud is a made up term and does not exist.

No, it's simply as true as saying "water is wet".
His performance today shredded any microscopic amount of integrity he had remaining....

Anyone that doesn’t believe in fraud is just lying. They want their side to win no matter what.
Speaking of fraud. I got two letters for the previous couple that lived at my house showing they hadn’t voted in the last 4 elections. Without voter ID I could vote for them. They are probably dead and still registered at my current address.

Perhaps you can link the post?

quote:You missed the point. Zapata sent these ballots to a republican in order to demonstrate that three fictions people could receive ballots at a totally unrelated address. Zapata, the sender and requester, is not a politician. She was demonstrating to a republican how easy it is to cheat in Wisconsin.
Of course, no Repub would ever actually do anything so heinous as this.
What a crock of crap
quote:
Asked for additional details, Woodall-Vogg said Zapata “went on the public facing MyVote website” to request the ballots, noting that service members in the military do not have to provide photo identification under Wisconsin law.
“She was pointing out that you can go on to the public system, make up a person and request a ballot,” said Woodall-Vogg. She said that Zapata then “sent it to a state legislative member” in order to “alert them to this vulnerability.”
But Johnson said Zapata’s motive doesn’t matter to him.
