School was next to a few IRGC targets. It is unfortunate that the IRGC placed active assets near a school.

No. This is a true reminder of the cost of war.

They put an elementary school less than 250yds from a heavy weapons depot.

It’s like Hamas putting weapon depots below hospitals

Since democrats lie all the time with the use of anonymous sources - this is assumed to be untrue until someone with an actual name confirms it

Regardless of who hit it, it sucks that innocents died. Unfortunately, in any war, no matter how careful or precise the attacks, there will be collateral damage.

It would help if terrorists would stop putting children near military targets, but alas, they place no value on innocent lives.

Regardless of who hit them, the terrorist regime used that school as a shield.

I want to know who provided the targeting information. Those things don’t just miss.

It’s probably as simple as us not knowing that the building had been converted to a school and we bombed it thinking it was still part of the naval base. It’s the most logical explanation and has been all along.

Trump actually implied that the tomahawk might have been fired by Iran. when a reporter rightfully called him out asking how Iran could have tomahawks, trump admitted that he didn't know shite about the topic and backtracked.

LOL, this is an all timer when it comes to incompetence. but you know many on this board will still give him a pass and continue to suck him off no matter what he does

Well, there will be some high-level resignations coming soon within the Department of War.

Our president didn’t. Even doubled down and suggested that Iran has tomahawks. I doubt he even understands that “tomahawk” isn’t just a generic term for a cruise missile.

It’s clear that Trump doesn’t understand war, defense, etc.

This is true. But you’ll continue to hate everything he does no matter how successful or correct it is. So if I were you I wouldn’t be hurling insults when you’re no different.

So no matter what happens from now on the only headlines will be about this story because it reflects negatively on Trump.

Unless our loyal fellow Americans in the mass media can find a more damaging headline for Trump, this will be the main information topic of conversation in our mass media, even if Iran surrenders tomorrow.

I'm MAGA as frick, but when I watched the exchange you're referring to, I cringed. That was a horrendous look for Trump and the way he worded his remarks made it really obvious he was winging it knowing damn well he was going to regret what he was saying. Kinda one of those moments when you start talking and immediately tell yourself "what the frick are you doing, STOP TALKING" but you keep talking anyway.

1. I do not believe the New York Times.

2. If we were intentionally targeting a building that we knew was a school then I will outraged.

3. If we were not intentionally targeting a school then it is a screw up. It is terrible and I hate it but we are not perfect.

Careful, I was told I was demonizing America when I made that rather mundane observation.

I'm not one of those "if you didn't serve your opinion doesn't count" twats, but FFS if you're going to talk about stuff like this you ought to at least know some of the basics.
