Seeing the fall of Cuba and Venezuela, and Iran's fall in progress...absolutely amazing stuff.
Cuba and Venezuela thriving would be a drastic change in positive fortunes for us.
I'd like to see what a transition plan for Cuba is. Just to be honest: its going to cost us a lot of money. We are going to pour money into a Democratically elected Cuban government. But its worth it, I think.

Is it weird that none of the TDS posters are in this thread? They must be trying to figure out how they can accuse Trump of bringing democracy to Cuba only because Israel told him to.
Seriously though, where are all the people who cried about us invading Cuba? Like usual, Trump supporters were right when we said it wouldn't require force. Like usual, the emotional TDS crowd was wrong.

It's going to take a lot to get the electric grid, agriculture, building maintenance and such back to a functioning economy.
My wife's friend and her husband are wealthy and semi-retired. They travel to lots of places for luxury resorts and hotels as their hobby. They went to Cuba last year. The "luxury" resort/hotel didn't have hot water or air conditioning and everyone in their travel group got food poisoning.
Cuba can start recovery by selling its failing state properties to international investors.
