Lmao Rogers pretty much called him a Muslim Terrorist for 45 mins straight. At least Abdul is concerned with helping the people of Michigan. All Rogers cares about is lining his pockets.

You sound like every other never trumper. Concern troll much? You're just a Democrat in sheep's clothing. Much like the politicians you're pulling for.

Agreed. Rogers didn't land any punches with people who are undecided.
If you won't vote for a Muslim, you've already heard El-Sayed's name...what else do you need?

Islamaphobic? Why does that even exist?
Is there amishphobia? Seventhdayphobia? Perhaps people have an irrational fear or coptics? Copticphobia?
I wonder what aspect of the current and historical Islam would have people afraid of it?
Absolutely unjustified concern about Islam. It's a very peaceful religion. Historically and in its own book and hadiths. For sure.

Hilarious for you say what historical relevance people would have to be afraid of Islam, when Christians had crusades for hundreds of years spreading their Christianity across the globe. Yet you choose to focus on a subset of radical groups that don’t even represent .0005 percent of the 2 billion Muslims in the world.

More boring canned talking points.

That’s a first for me!! I bet you’re just smarter than literally everyone else and just see something that they haven’t and don’t. Anyhoo……
The problem with your claim that you’re just a an innocent fella who’s peacefully and politely here only to seek knowledge - the problem with that notion is that your history bears out otherwise, it dictates that I not take your claim seriously. No, I’m not claiming to have a different or “better” air about me, so no need to take off on that tangent.
You're boring and have weird stalker energy and I have no desire to engage with you at all, nor do I have any thoughts about you as a poster other than you're being deeply weird at the moment. Sorry my comment about dumb repetitive jokes, which wasn't even aimed at you in particular, triggered you so much.

This one hits home for me and I'll avoid getting fired up. My family is in this country because of what the ottomans did in southern Europe.
Why do you think Bosnia is a Muslim country? Convert or die
Christianity did not spread via the sword. The entire history of the Muslim expansion is rooted in violence. Nearly all of it. There are specific hadiths regarding the treatment of non Muslims
Not going to touch your infantile understanding of the crusades.
Just curious, why does the dome of the rock exist when Islam wasn't even a thing in biblical history? How on earth does a religion from 610 AD, have so much control over a old city of jews and Christians?

Yeah yeah. After one or two relatively brief exchanges, that’s what you’ve got. Go on then, absolutely no problem here, and I’ll even refrain from commenting any further on what’s more likely behind this effort to shut off further discourse. No objection.

Bottom line, Islamophobia is not the issue. Muslims by and large do not assimilate, they are anti-Semitic, fascistic, misogynistic, do not respect women's rights, do you want me to go on?
Under no circumstance should a Muslim in the United States have an elected office.

Should be an easy win for el-sayed.
Michigan voters dont care about al-queda, israel, Muslim brotherhood etc. They care about policy that will make their lives better

I'd appreciate it if you offered your take on how it actually went if you do watch it.
Finished. Found an online poll...
Of the hundreds of comments I scrolled through on YouTube, I only saw 5 comments that weren't for El-Sayed. Those were all critical of Medicare for All. Maybe I missed it, but I saw ZERO comments that suggested Rogers won...and NewsNation viewers tend to be centrist.
As for content, Rogers was 90% attack of El-Sayed. In addition to the Muzzies are a security risk, he frequently accused El-Sayed of being a phony. He used the line "he's not even a real doctor line" a couple of times. Kinda backfired though because the moderator would then say, "You're response DOCTOR El-Sayed." I don't think it was moderator bias...what was he going to call someone with an M.D. and a PhD..."MISTER El-Sayed?"
Rogers was good on projecting his image as a tough on security (FBI agent).and national defense background.
El-Sayed probably spent 15% of his time attacking Rogers for being beholden to corporate donors and being more concerned about sending money to foreign countries than spending that money at home. He focused mostly on economics.
Stylistically, El-Sayed was very smooth. Rogers was also good. Both seem really well prepared. Neither of them hesitated in what they were saying. Impressive by both.
Bottom line. Rogers LOOKED the part better. IF a voter was open to voting for a Muslim, El-Sayed probably picked up way more votes because he really stayed on message with economic issues.
I think Kalshi will move 2-5 points higher for El-Sayed after tonight.

Have you ever been to Greece? Ask the Greeks what they think about Muslims. They've had a very long history with Muslims and it wasn't pretty.

That's interesting, because Michigan is ran by Democrats and all the states gaining population because of lifestyle issues are red states.
12 of the last 16 at the federal level up to 2024 were Democrats in control.
The biggest LOL that Democrats have is their bitching about healthcare, which is their signature policy with the ACA since, at least 50-60 years?
Yet, they try to pin the healthcare issues in the country on republicans?
They can't even get Medicaid for all up and running in a new England state of under a million because of cost, so they abandoned it. But they want it for 350 million people including illegals?
Asinine.

Agree. Of course, it's all about turn out, but I can't imagine Rogers picking up many independent voters he hadn't already won.
El-Sayed might have lost a few voters when he refused to say that Iran was more of a threat than Israel. El-Sayed said that Israel was a threat to the US because it might drag us into more wars. People who were offended probably weren't going to vote for El-Sayed anyway.

When I was in Greece, it was interesting hearing her take on Muslims. She does not like them.

Nope. But the grandma from my big fat Greek wedding is pretty representative of my views. If you've seen that movie.
The west not responding to the fall of Constantinople is probably one of the sadder events in western civ history. Unforgivable.
