They might be doing it for click bait, but the connection is there, as even you admitted.
It's one thing to arrest her if she randomly got caught up in something while in another state and this came up. However, that doesn't sound like the case here. Why do something they would otherwise never do, unless there was more to the story.

I didn't admit any connection. I also didn't say this is something they'd never otherwise do. I wouldn't be surprised if it got higher priority because of the political nature of it all, but I don't know that.
Setting aside whether I think the case against her in Michigan is meritorious, any judge or prosecutor who is getting completely blown off by someone subject to a bench warrant and adds insult to injury by publicly getting involved in a high profile case in DC without taking the time to go handle the warrant in Michigan is going to earn the ire of that judge/prosecutor.

It seems the DC judge has some culpability in this legal harassment. The Judge is the one who told her to stay in the courtroom so he knew and participated in the the theatrics. I would think most judges would say not in my courtroom as they did when ICE was attempting to arrest illegals at there court appearances.

I agree. Informing the court that they were going to arrest her after the hearing didn't strike me as weird, but that part (judge asking her to remain behind) was.

More than likely. They could have arrested her back in Michigan but waited to do it right when damaging evidence became public knowledge.
It's the modus op of this corrupt cabal. Show me the man/woman, I will show you the crime.
