I fricking showed it an article posted today about the Assanssination attempt and it still refers to October 20th, 2020.

That’s Meta AI, not ChatGPT. They’re completely different LLMs.
Some LLMs are less sophisticated with language but are more up to date with information, while others are more sophisticated with their language handling but aren’t as up to date with information.
ChatGPT is the latter.
