The following attempts to reveal part of the reason behind why secularism is attempting to 'de-chest' our men. The process has been insidious and we must recognize it for what it is - an outright attack on God's original design and order.

An Essay

So all us old people that worked and paid taxes and raised your parents in Godly homes are responsible because bankers invest where they can make the most profit. How exactly did we do this?

If you hate the current generation, shouldn’t you blame yourself for raising such a shite generation?

It’s like if I had a son that turned out to be a no good piece of shite drug abuser, wouldn’t that fall on my failure as a parent?

On a micro level you very well may not have done this. On a macro level, your generation raised kids with extremely weak emotional resilience. Your generation sat by while men were raised by women to be subservient. A man shouldn't hit a woman, but he also shouldn't lay down like a dog when there is an altercation.

The ol Boomers did it schtick.... Psssst....the US Corporatocracy did it and the Corporatocracy doesn't rely on any particular generations to execute their LWO agenda.

It is strange. Like one big strawman.

Lewis' work The Abolition of Man, from which Men Without Chests comes from, has little-to-nothing to do with manliness or masculinity as it relates to men/males.

Lewis uses "men" in this context in the same way that one would use the word "mankind."

ETA: about the author

quote:

Kristin Du Mez is Professor of history at Calvin College. She is author of A New Gospel for Women: Katharine Bushnell and the Challenge of Christian Feminism (OUP), and is currently writing a book on evangelical masculinity and militarism, due out with W. W. Norton's Liveright Publishing in early 2020.

Oh, I see now...

TL;DR version: C.S. Lewis warned us against what our society would become, and he therefore needs to be discredited as an intellectual influence.

One of the issues is we could do for men to have smaller chests in general.

For the record, I am not subscribing to the article's viewpoints.

It is a view into how twisted and myopic our society has become to the degree that we as a society, in general, are no longer capable to recognize things for what they are.

It appears that confirmation bias is the norm and no longer the exception.

It's basically a long-winded way to say that our society no longer can boast of a membership of critical thinkers as the majority.

Boomers didn’t vote for NAFTA. The politicians they elected sold us all out for cheap labor. Hell why do you think Ross Perot had so much support and was a viable third party candidate for President. He was exactly right about the great sucking sound of American jobs leaving the country.
