Yep, and that's why this will go nowhere.

Again.

Except then Deputy Director of the FBI Andrew McCabe testified that there would be no warrant without the Steele dossier

Is this confirmed outside of this memo?

I don't care who you are.... When a Politically charged FBI deputy Dir Say without the Dossier there is no Warrant and they used circular reporting to back that up.

That's planting evidence

We knew all of this before its release

I would agree that people that walk around erect with their heads on their shoulders knew of this before it was released. I cannot agree that the liberal democrats in this country either fit this bill or believed the contents before today.

NEW Democrat spin

The intel documents don't support this memo.

quote:

Chad Pergram on Twitter: "Hse Intel Cmte Dems: It is telling that Chairman Nunes put out this memo without bothering to read the underlying materials, and that he ordered changes to the document without informing his own committee members."
LINK
An obvious lie and stall tactic. Release it all then democrats...

If someone calls to release it ALL today the democrats will cry foul again and attack Nunes and say he is a Russian spy...

This is terrible at multiple levels. First, that the fears of those who distrusted the process of the FISA warrants is confirmed as valid, and that will likely result in a major amendment to the law. Second, who can ever believe anything that the FBI offers on a FISA warrant again? This really hurts the agency and was made worse by what seems to have been an attempt to sweep it under the rug. Third, that the process was used, wrongfully and knowingly so, to attempt to influence a presidential election. Proof that the past administration would have actually done all the things like the IRS targeting, gun running, etc. that it was accused of and which the mainstream media denied. And yes, considering the probably ultimate fallout, it is likely worse than Watergate.

There is no 'excuse' for this kind of shite.

There is no 'rationalization' for this kind of shite.

There is no 'other side of the argument' for this kind of shite.

Folks who can't see or understand how unbelievably corrupt and craven these people have behaved are, apparently, themselves full of shite...

There will be no relenting even after it is documented and delivered. The open minded intellectuals never concede.

If it were unverified, as admitted in the memo, would you stake your law enforcement career on the dossier being correct and submitting it to the court?

Hell of a risk to take on a piece of evidence people are claiming was not significant to getting the warrant.

Everything ever submitted by the people who handled this case and vouched for the evidence will now be under extreme scrutiny going back their entire career.

If anyone cares, FOX News is being very fair right now. They've already had multiple people, including hosts, basically saying pump the breaks a bit and talking about how there is definitely info left out and how Page was under some sort of investigation before ever having anything to do with Trump.

FOX isn't perfect by any stretch. But they're so much better than CNN and MSNBC.

But didn't the surveillance of Carter Page begin in 2013, which was before Trump was even a candidate? What we're really talking about is a renewal of the surveillance, right?

One that wasn't sought until after the dossier, which was submitted to FISA Court with no context or explanation as to origins and absence of any confirmation

I’m still waiting for someone to credibly link me to McCabe’s testimony. Nunes’ language is ever so craftily worded with regard to that particular piece of evidence.

As it stands now, the sources I’m seeing online are in the vein of conservative treehouse.

Has anyone noted that the FISA app was really just to validate that they were already spying on Trump...

It's not in this memo, but it's coming.

Guys on CNN unwittingly now saying we will need to see the supporting info to verify Nunez memo. Love it, the Dems are walking right into the trap.

Let's just hope that Carter Page is ultimately clean.
